CX Trends is the annual Zendesk report, grounded in original global research. It forecasts the leading trends shaping customer experience in the year ahead, positioning Zendesk as the leader in AI for CX.
For this year we built the design direction around the five main trends that define the core report and drive all campaign content. Each trend is represented by a specific color, geometric shape and 3D shape, creating a clear and distinctive identity within the overall campaign system.

“We helped craft the brand system for Zendesk CX Trends 26 from the ground-up. We utilized a 3d design visual language to help us convey subjective or abstract concepts that are otherwise difficult to represent-giving visual form to the intangible."

“The 3D visuals of each one of the trends are directly inspired by the trend’s name, having specific features that are a reflection of it, giving form to its meaning and reinforcing its unique identity within the campaign."
The 3D imagery library is composed of both micro views and macro views of each shape. The micro view (or full shape) is mainly used when a 3D visual is needed to support expressive data visualizations. The macro view (or detail of the shape) is applied across assets to build dynamic, engaging, and visually exciting layouts.

“3D data visualizations can be used to represent the key statistics. These are specifically designed to showcase the main statistics for each trend."

The animation was focused on creating delightful moments. Our reaction animations functioned like they do in social media spaces, but with an experimental touch that tapped in to Zendesks’s origins.
